You Are Not Lost and You Are Not Broken
You Are Just Out of Alignment

Your Life Isn't Working
You can’t sleep at night.
You can’t focus.
You don’t feel connected with your body.
And your relationships? They feel like they’re falling apart.
You Used to Know Which Way Was Forward
Once upon a time, you thought you were on the right path.
But looking back, you’ve lost the trail.
The family, the job, the future – nothing of it feels so sure.
Problems you thought were little are beginning to feel bigger than you can handle.
You know what you need to do. But you can’t seem to do it.
You keep doing the things you know are wrong for you.

Therapy Tailored Specifically to YOU
Your heart and soul are pulling in different directions.
I can help you realign yourself at your core.
Let’s bring your thoughts, feelings, memories, hopes, and body back into purposeful alignment.
I draw from cognitive therapy, psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, somatic approaches, and neuroscience. I organize them into a framework that helps us identify your particular strengths, vulnerabilities, and patterns.
I will not try and force you into a one-size-fits-all treatment model. Instead, I’ll create a way of working that is tailored specifically to you.
Why Insight Alone Doesn’t Bring You Back into Alignment
Your mind isn’t one single thing. It’s five fields operating at once:
- Situational Field – Sensual contact with the present moment
- Felt Sense Field – Bodily awareness and somatic experience
- Conceptual Field – Thoughts, beliefs, and meaning-making
- Narrative Field – Life story and patterns
- Enactive Field – Movement from reactive to intentional living
Process Alignment Therapy, an integrative framework I developed after 15 years of studying neuroscience, attachment theory, and what creates lasting change, targets those fields directly.
When those fields are pulling against each other, you can understand yourself completely and still feel paralyzed.
That’s misalignment.
Drawing from cognitive therapy, psychodynamic work, attachment theory, somatic approaches, and neuroscience, this approach reaches the places insight alone can’t resolve.
The goal is to shift the pattern, not just be able to explain it.
What Becomes Possible When All Five Fields Align
Clients who do this work don’t just feel better. They experience themselves differently in the body, in their relationships, and in the choices they make when no one is watching.
I’ll help you:
- Wake up with a sense of where the day is going
- Stop the internal argument between what you know and what you do
- Bring your body back into the conversation with your mind
- Feel your relationships as real rather than performed
- Turn the stress you carry into direction you can actually use
- Build the capacity to do this work for yourself, long after sessions end
This is not symptom management. This is realignment at your core.
See If This Approach Is Right for YouHow We’ll Work Together
Getting to Know You
In the beginning, we work together to understand your current problem patterns within the context of your life story. No assumptions.
This phase is relatively short and lasts 2 or 3 meetings.
We map your patterns.
Doing the Work
Once patterns are identified, we build a treatment plan tailored to how you work best.
This phase can be as structured or unstructured as you like, and I will be as relaxed or focused in session as you feel comfortable with.
Some clients enjoy a casual hour to work on the stress of their week, while others want something more focused and targeted. Especially in cases where trauma needs to be addressed.
We meet whatever you bring, and we take it as far as you need.
Owning the Work
You grow your ability to identify the different tensions in your life, what they mean, and how to turn the tension and stress into meaningful direction and intention.
You will learn how to experience yourself, your subjective experience of life, in such a way that you can mine the meaning in your stress for yourself.
We will see each other less and eventually I hope you will not need to see me anymore.
You mine the meaning and graduate.
Carrying It Forward
Sessions become less frequent as you grow more capable of doing this work on your own.
You learn to experience your subjective life in a way that lets you mine meaning from stress for yourself.
The goal was never dependency. It was a fundamentally different experience of yourself.
You find the trail again.
An Innovative Framework
I draw from cognitive therapy, psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, somatic approaches, and neuroscience, organized through Process Alignment Therapy — a framework I developed that identifies your specific strengths, vulnerabilities, and patterns so the work is built around you.
Expert Guidance in Each Session
Sessions with me involve a productive tension that other therapy rarely provides. I create enough safety that you can go to the genuinely hard places.
What This Work Produces
The goal isn't a better coping strategy — it's a fundamentally different experience of yourself.

Over the past twenty years, I’ve trained in cognitive therapy, EMDR, somatic work, and more. My master’s training was through a seminary founded by the Quakers – which added an interesting dimension and fostered deep respect for the role belief plays in human life.
My job is to understand how the mind organizes experience, how emotions and beliefs shape behavior, and how certain patterns keep you feeling stuck.
What Clients Say
How is this different from therapy I've tried before?
Most therapy stays at the level of insight and conversation. My work creates structured, intentional, productive tension that reaches the parts of you that insight alone can’t move. If previous therapy started to feel like friendship rather than real change, that’s exactly the gap this approach closes.
What if I've tried therapy before and it didn't work?
That history is relevant, and I want to hear it. Understanding why previous work fell short is part of how we map your patterns in the first phase. Many clients who come to me describe prior therapy that felt supportive but not transformative. You are not the problem. The fit may have been.
How long does this take?
It depends on what you’re carrying and how deep you want to go. The first phase is 2–3 sessions. Beyond that, some clients work for several months, others longer. My explicit goal is to help you not need to see me anymore.
What happens in the first session?
The first session begins the process of mapping your patterns: your current struggles, the context of your life story, and what you’ve already tried.
Is this for men, couples, or specific issues?
I work with individual adults. My clients tend to be adults in their 30s to 50s who are high-functioning on the outside and quietly struggling on the inside.
